Gwent XC League

Fixture Dates and Venues:

• Saturday 16th October 2021 at Llandaff Fields, Cardiff
• 13th or 14th November 2021
• Saturday 4th December 2021 at Pembrey Country Park
• Saturday 19th February 2022 at Blaise Castle, Bristol
• Saturday 19th March 2022 at Singleton Park, Swansea

Male Masters over 65:

Male Masters over 65 can run with the Senior Women.

This allows all men over 65 to have team competition. It also aids the selectors for international selection.

Men over the age of 65 can choose to run in the senior men's race but they will only count as M55.

GWENT X COUNTRY LEAGUE

The Gwent League is a completely off-road league, taking place on parkland courses, consisting of 5 fixtures catering for all age groups. Cost of entry is £1 for juniors and £4 for senior/vets per fixture (payable on the day to Steve). No matter what your ability, every runner counts towards an AVR team. The junior races vary from 1400m to 5000m depending upon the age group. The senior men - 9500m to 12000m. The senior women - 5800m to 7000m. 

If you wish to compete please can you let Steve know via email (not via text or facebook) to stwconsultancy@hotmail.co.uk. He will need your full name and date of birth (for junior athletes) and age category e.g. FV35, FV40 or M40, M45 (for senior athletes). If you need a place on the minibus then include the request in the email. If the numbers wishing to attend exceed the capacity of the minibus then we will arrange alternative transport to ensure that everybody can get to the venue.
