Training Sessions from 19th July 2021

The training sessions will be:
Monday 7pm - Adults.  Group runs ranging from 8 minute miles to walk / run groups from TRFC 
Monday 7pm - Juniors - TRFC track
Tuesday 7pm - Adults.  9-11 minute miles from TRFC and speed sessions 
Wednesday 6pm - Juniors TRFC Track 
Wednesday 7pm- Adults.  No one gets left behind from TRFC and speed session 
Thursday 7pm- Culver Close

AVR Road Race Series

Some dates for your diary for 2022 - the road race league starts in a few weeks and the races below are in both the Wiltshire league and in our AVR league. It's best 6 of 8 races to count and everyone of any ability can take part. The more AVR runners we have, the better our chances of winning the league again.
Race 1: Calne Leisure Centre Clock Change Challenge 10k, 27/03/22
Race 2: Highworth 5 mile, 10/04/22 
Race 3: Hullavington Half, 15/05/22 
Race 4: Lacock 10k, 26/06/22
Race 5: Heddington 5k - either 21st Jun, 19th Jul
and 16th Aug
Race 6: Compton Bassett 5 mile, date TBC (likely August)
Race 7: Malmesbury 10k, 03/09/22
Race 8: Devizes 10k, 25/09/22

AVR AGM HELD

The AVR AGM was held on Tuesday 9th January.

The AGM heard about lots of the good things that have happened over the past year and the plans for the next year.  The members also voted in the committee for the next year who you can find out about here

AVR Wiltshire Half Marathon donate to Wiltshire Air Ambulance

Today, the Wiltshire Air Ambulance was presented with a cheque for £2369.26 which was raised by the AVR Wiltshire Half Marathon which was held on November 26th 2023.
